Exo Terra Sub Stratum - Bioactive Volcanic - 4 kg is natural volcanic soil formed by Andesit and Ryolite which is very nutritious soil, ideal for lush plants in bioactive terrariums.
The porous surface provides excellent drainage and aeration and promotes strong root growth. Sub Stratum's crisp structure with low density promotes a thriving stock of useful, nitrifying bacteria and creates a self -sufficient, living ecosystem in the terrarium.
The active beneficial bacteria in the soil break down biological waste and keep the terrarium clean and healthy.
