Exo Terra Forest Bark 4.4 liters is a 100% natural bottom material made of durable made spruce bark. Forest Bark is ideal for moisturizing reptiles, toads and invertebrates from tropical environments and forest environments. Its hygroscopic properties naturally regulate the humidity of the terrarium by absorbing and slowly release moisture.
The particles of spruce bark have a size and shape that stimulates naturally digging and tunnel construction and deter acids from hiding in the ground. The spruce bark is tumbled firmly to even out the bark pieces and remove dust, then heat treated to reduce bacterial contamination.
