• Turtle Bone is a natural, liquid calcium source for all types of turtles.
• Uneven edges counteracts confused jaw (beak).
• Turtle Bone is extremely useful for young turtles and egg -laying females that require more calcium for access to shells and egg development.

Use:

• Water turtles: Place one turtle bone per 1-2 turtles in the water. It will float and the turtles will eat what they need. Replace Turtle Bone if it starts to dissolve before it is consumed.
• National turtles: Place a turtle bone in a separate food bowl and leave until consumed. Some individuals will devour Turtle Bone within a few days while for others it will take several weeks. As long as your animal eats its usual food, this is normal behavior.
